Breastfeeding Shouldn’t Get Negative Comments

I have just seen a beautiful photo on my Facebook of a mother breastfeeding her child and the amount of negative comments was actually gobsmacking!

Its 2020 and yet we live in a society where a mother catches less hell for giving her toddler coke than she does for giving her toddler breast milk. If photos like this offend you in anyway then please just unfriend me.

I breastfed. Not because I thought I was better, not because I thought less of mums who formula fed, not because I wanted attention, not because I wanted to show my breasts to others.

I breastfed because I couldn’t imagine it any other way, because my child wanted to be nourished from me, because that is what nature intended and because that was the right choice for me and my baby girl. We lasted 18 months on our journey and and I’ll forever be proud of us both regardless of other people’s opinions 👩‍👧🤱🏻❤️

Doesn’t matter wether your baby has a bottle or boob, be proud of your choice and for god sake don’t put other women down 🙌🏼
