Can I get another ppp

I’ve had the conception implant put in but it’s caused nothing but horrendous long heavy bleeding but going to give till the end of next month. Iv spoken with my doctor about possibly getting my tubes tied but because I’m over weight she said they might not do it, and if they did they wouldn’t put me to sleep, I’d have to have a local or a spinal which I actually prefer, don’t like the idea of being put to sleep. My question has anyone had this done under a local or spinal and what was your recovery like? My family is totally complete now and I’m looking for a more permanent contraception TIA xx
