Can I have a post please.
Hi mums/dads. Do any of you have a child that experiences tics? I think that’s what it’s called – worse than a nervous twitch. My son is 7 and it’s been going on for a while now, he saw a doctor today who has sent him a referral where they’ll discuss with him how to deal with them when he feels them coming on but the only issue I have with that is he does it ALL the time and I mean alot. It gets worse when he’s been told off for being naughty or when something has happened at school so I believe it could be anxiety related too? Just wondering if any of you have experienced this and how to support them? I feel so sorry for him it’s breaking my heart.
