Can i have a post please! I found out I’m pregnant but I don’t have a doctor and no where will let me register without photo id which I don’t have at the moment I’m trying to find the money to order it but I’ll be 9weeks on Thursday and I haven’t seen a doctor or midwife what shall I do or what can I do xx

They should accept something like your birth certificate as not every boy has photographic id and normally a household bill in your name, i would double check with them, but you can self refer to you local midwife as i was told that when pregnant with my first x
They should accept ur birth certificate and a household bill if u don’t have a photo driving license or a passport (I work in a gp surgery)
Some places you can just call up your local maternity hospital and arrange directly with Midwife. Altho Gp’s will just accept your birth certificate
I lost my photo Id right when I fell pregnant, I just handed in a form anyway and badgered them fir my booking appointment they haven’t asked since
I’ve never had to show photo id when registering at a new doctors it’s always been a bill in my name and address x
Usually they’ll accept bills and a birth certificate if you don’t have photo ID.
I just rang up midwifes, I didn’t go through with seeing the doctor
