Can I have a pp please?

Took my 18 month old daughter to the Dr today. Since birth her vagina has been closed. I was hoping it would ‘re open itself but unfortunately it hasn’t. The Dr spoke about referring us to the paed surgical team. Has anyone’s child been through this? I was so sad when the Dr confirmed it. What happens Next? Thanks in advance from a very worried mummy.
