Can I have a pp please?
I’m currently in a one bedroom council flat with my partner and 9 month old. I am on the bidding system and am band c. The hv team have referred me to the GP as I have scored highly on the depression and anxiety as a result of my current housing situation. This is because where I live, there is high levels of violence, crime and drug and alcohol abuse (more than a weekly basis) but the council are refusing to help. I have explained that this is not a desperate attempt to upsize, I would be happy moving to another one bedroom but their answer was ‘this will happen wherever you live’ which doesn’t help. Does anyone have any advice or been in this situation? Tia x

Once you have gone to gp they can put a medical referal into the council and that could make things better
