Can I have a ppp

I left McDonald’s for a new job and because they were treating me badly I was there 5 shifts a week for 8 months .

I handed in a weeks notice and it was accepted my little one was ill and it’s the first time I ever took time off for 2 days and now there saying they won’t pay me my holiday money because I didn’t work my notice ? Is this fair ? I phoned in the morning and explained that I wouldn’t be in ?

Any help would be really great full ?
