Can I have a ppp please. I am 7 weeks pregnant and had my bloods taken on Thursday. Iv just had a call to say I need to go and see the doctor tomorrow morning to review my bloods and to bring a urine sample. I’m really worried and just wondering if this has happened to others and what they were called in for and if it was anything serious? Thankyou

They won’t know your baby as downs at 7 weeks. It will be your iron levels hun don’t worry too much. To the lady about the downs they tell you that by scan at 12 weeks by the fluid on the back of baby neck then you go for further scan in more detail then you get option to have the big needle to check fluid. So don’t chat 💩 worrying this poor woman when they can’t test for downs on a routine blood test.
Might be anaemic? However I had a letter for mine and a prescription in the post. Might be different in different places. Don’t worry too much though xx
I was always anemic mine was very low in my last pregnancy nothing to worry about if so youre be on iron tablets then have bloods taken again to check
Your probably anemic nothing to worry about just have to take iron tablets
Could be your white cell count is a bit high don’t worry it’s normal if it is
Your levels could be low or your low on progrestone. Don’t think the worst! Stay positive.
Low iron probably or your white cells could be high indicating an infection in your body so a urine sample would confirm if it’s a urine infection… x

Maybe aneamic common in pregnancy
