Can I have a private post please…
I met a lady and her baby in my block at the beginning of the year. She was a single parent, knew no one and had very little items so I tried to help her out where I could. I decided to change my sofa. I was putting the old one up for sale on facebook with the foot stool, then thought of the lady. I had offered her it and I knew she didn’t have a lot of money so asked her if she liked it she said yes and the condition was really good. So I decided to give it to her for FREE. I’ve been sent a screen shot this morning that she has put it up for sale at £30.
Am I being unreasonable by being hurt and upset. I commented on her post, she messaged me to say that ‘mate I was selling it for you’ this seems far fetched to me as surely she would have contacted me to say she no longer needed it and was thinking of selling it. Instead her reply to my message was that ‘I’m selling it for you’ BULLS**T am I in the wrong here for feeling the way I do? X
