Can I have a private post please. I’m 19 and physically can not have sex. I’m seeing a gynaecologist next week but my problem is because of this I feel so distant from my partner. He completely understands it’s not his fault etc etc but I just can’t help but feel like he’s not interested anymore as he gets in a mood when I say no to sex, even if I do give in I’m always in agony crying afterwards due to the pain. My question is, is there anything I can do to keep him close while I can’t actually be intimate with him? Thanks

Be intimate in other ways. Even if it’s just kissing and hugging! Obviously there’s oral sex if you want to take it that far but just being close by talking and giving massages etc makes you feel close xx
