Can I have a private post please – REALLY need some help on this
I’m getting married next summer and contacted a photographer who advised me of someone else as they were fully booked this was about 2 months ago. A few weeks back I found out that the photographer I initially contacted has been jailed for being a pedophile . As soon as I found out I contacted my photographer asking for the deposit back as I did not feel comfortable with continuing with their services due to them knowing each other and details passed (I have a young toddler). They are refusing saying deposits are non refundable but due to the circumstances I feel this isn’t right and my wedding is months away. I just feel as a mum how could I continue with a service after what’s happened …. unfortunately I paid the deposit through bank transfer – does anyone know how I can fight for it back as it’s a lot of money for nothing? – many thanks
