Can I have a private post please,has anyone applied for a budgeting loan online with dwp? How long did it take till u got a decision letter? And if you owed them anything previously did they still give u some sort of payment??

It depends how much you ask for and how much you owe. It normally takes about 3 to 4 weeks. If you own them anything they will take it off the amount you asked for to pay back back what you’d owe but would still need to pay back the full amount x
Long as u dont owe them over a 1000 pounds and youve started paying of previous run up to xmas will be busy so probs looking at a letter bk within about 4 weeks
The amount you can apply for also depends if you’re applying in a couple or single
If u call they will tell u
I just got mine it took 6 weeks
