Can I have a private post please
Ppl This isn’t baby related. But I don’t know where else to turn…… so my sister fell out with my dad (her biological dad not mine. He adopted me when I was 1, she’s a few years younger than me). My dad made some petty accusations about my baby sister and he chose his long term girl friend over us. It’s been nearly 5 years since we’ve spoken. Thing is I’ve always told her she don’t need him. But I do. I’m falling apart and I couldn’t think why?! I’ve now had a child and so much has changed in my life which I don’t know if he knows. I don’t want contact as I think he doesn’t deserve it. But I’m missing something! Is there someone I can talk to?? I just don’t know, can anyone help?? Please. Thank you for any comments left x

I do understand this. But he’s not been in contact for nearly 5 years. He’s chosen not to talk to his daughters. So why do I make the 1st move??
Life is way way to short to fall out with family memebers..
he may not deserve it but obviously your missing somthing, get in contact with him it doesn’t have to permanent if you don’t want it but I generally think it’s worth a try he may be missing you as much as you miss him. Everyone needs a dad and everyone needs a mum weather they think they do or don’t xx
