Could I have a private post for a family member please.
My daughter is 9 in primary school and came home saying 2 boys in her class had been lifting her skirt and touching her. She told them to stop and told a teacher. They’re still doing it at playtime so she’s told me and I’ve told her she’s not in trouble and to tell me everything that’s happened. I’ve been in and had a meeting with the headteacher and safeguarding officer who have said they will investigate why nothing was done by the teacher and keep an eye on my daughter to ensure it doesn’t happen again. I picked her up today and her teacher asked to speak to me and said her and another teacher had a meeting with my daughter where she admitted she was lieing. I spoke to my daughter who insists she hasn’t lied and says the teachers kept saying are you lieing about this but she says she hasn’t and thinks she’s in trouble at school about it. They’ve said they’ve had to call social services as it’s about a pupil and were asking me questions like “is she lieing about this because of something happening at home” I really don’t know where to go from here but feel the school have just decided my daughter is lieing so aren’t doing anything. Does anyone have advice please?
