Could I have a private post please. I’m a single parent,working 16h a week in the factory from work agency some weeks there isn’t any work. In March there wasn’t no work for 2 weeks and I went to work in the glasshouse for a day and earned just over £45 and in start of April I went to do cleaning job,done 12h. And again when I worked there I didn’t work at my current job because there wasn’t no work. Council sent me a letter that my housing benefit has been stopes because apparently I work 3 jobs all the time and earn decent wages. I explained to them that at my current job wasn’t no work and I have to work 16h a week so I went to work somewhere else. Could they stop my housing benefit for me for this? That’s so unfair ,I can’t stand it. If you don’t work they’re not happy and if you’re working they still not happy. I showed them all the evidence that I worked just a day at each work.
