Could I make an anon post please? Sorry it’s a bit long..
I need some advice.
To give a bit of background, I’ve lived with my grandmother almost all my life due to being neglected.
Over the years growing up, BM (birth mother) has been highly abusive, controlling and manipulative. Everything was okay for a little bit so I gave her a chance since it is her first grandchild.
I decided to block all contact with her for other reasons so she then tried playing victim and using my own unborn child to manipulate me.
My younger sister who lives with her started harassing me because I refuse to put up with anymore abuse or have toxic people around my child when he/she gets here.
I refuse to let them have anything or be anywhere near my child.
Grandmother who raised me keeps letting her back in and is keeping in contact with them.
Grandmother will tell her own friends literally everything we tell her, even if we specifically ask her not to or if it’s extremely personal; she won’t care, she shares it around like it’s broadcast news. I don’t trust her not to tell BM anything so I’m choosing to move out as soon as it’s possible and cut her off.
Doing so will turn a lot of my current support and family against me so what I need to know is how do I cope when I make the cut?
