Hello again quick question? Do we have a varied mix of uk and us mums in this group.

Saw a post about reins/ leshes for kids. In uk its a standard tak or leave. No judgement no harsh comments etc. But from my understanding in this other post many us moms frown upon and critisize them. Could you ask people? Just really curious? Thanks x

  • I am in the US, and it’s true, people here get really up in arms about kids on leashes. I believe they think it makes a child dog-like, and since you can’t control your child without treating it like a dog, you’re a bad mom. In my opinion, it’s a stupid argument and would have saved that endangered zoo gorilla last year if someone had put her baby on a leash, but you know. Whatever.

  • As a child I was on reins until I was 9 simply because I would just up and leave when ever I felt like it, my mum had 2 other children and couldn’t leave them to be constantly chasing me, I was an awful child, I really hope karma is kind to me with my lb 😂 xx

  • Personally I don’t like the wrist ones my son has a back pack on with a strap on that I got mine from boots but I do feel like I’m walking a dog with the handle for me to hold

  • Personally I don’t like them , but my son has always and still always holds hands when out and doesn’t kick up a fuss about doing so , so really ive never needed to think about buying them x
