Hello, just thinking ahead my little girl is 1 and I have a good chance at getting a house In a lovely area the school that is on the street is rated good by ofsted but previous to that the reports haven’t been too good. The school I really want her at is outstanding but it a 30 minute walk away (ten mins from mums though who also watches her) we don’t drive just wondering if it is too far for a 4 year old to walk xxx

You’re probably going to regret that walk on cold dark mornings in winter or in the rain. I personally wouldn’t drag my child half an hour walk to school when there’s one on the street for the sake of an outstanding report, however I would move closer to the outstanding school because I’m quite bothered about education. If Youre wanting to go there is a move to that area possible to make it easier to get there and still go to the good school?
I walk 7 hours a day doing school runs. My kids don’t care 6,3,2 it really wears them out. If your worried get a scooter ☺️
