Hello mums and dads! Im in abit of a pickle.. I have a lb with my ex and he is the main carer for my son so he gets income support, child benefit and also child tax, now I’m only on jsa, I have my son on the weekends so from Friday to Monday… with winter and the snow when my son stays over I have to have my heating on all night to warm his room as he has a vent in there which just blows clod air.. I’ve tried to block it up but nothing.. anyways I’m really struggling to provide for my son with just the income that I am on, I asked my ex if he could help even if it’s just buying me nappies and wipes.. but he said no that when he has him he provides for him and when I have him I provide for him.. am I in the wrong to be pissed off? My ex does not help me at all.. when I asked for spare clothes (as I have nothing with me) all he gave me was a spare pair of jeans! Please no nasty comments, I’m already in a low place and just need to know if it’s right for him to give me a little bit of money or not.. thank you..
