Hi can I get a private post please.
Hi all just need a bit of advice as I’m worried.
So normally when I go to the toilet I can go a few days at most a week or 2 with not opening my bowels, always been this way. But this week I am really struggling. I really need to go but can’t. I have had lactalose and movicol. It’s been like this for 3 days. But I’ve been bleeding to so had a pad on but it was mainly poo on pad. I know you can have grown discharge at the end of a period. But this was not thst it was definatly poo. So now I’m worried as it’s on my pad and when I wipe with blood too. But I can’t open my bowels. I’m in so much pain too. I am going to get into doctors tomorrow. But what can I do now to help me go? I’m really worries about it coming thru the front an not the back. Please help xxx

If you go to out of hours, they’ll give you a pessary! Not pleasant like, but my god they blooming work! 😂 nothing worse than not been able to go. Hope you feel better soon x
Prune juice works, lactulose is just a stool softener, my lb suffers from constipation and prune juice gets him going the same day x
