Hi can I have a post please? It’s for some advice. I have been with my partner 6 years and have a 3 year old and a nearly 2 year old and my relationship with their dad has always had its problems with loads of arguing and today I have decided to end it for good. I did end it over 2 years ago but he came down every day to see the kids and would give me pure abuse and then it on me and say it’s all ended because of me and I ruined our family. He would pester me that much to get back together with him that it just seemed easier and less exhausting to just do that so I did. I’ve had to text him to tell him it’s over because if I did it in the house before he left, it would be a massive argument. Anyway, my question is, if your ex came down to see the kids every day and treated your house as if they still lived there (having baths, making lunch) and giving you abuse, would you allow them in your house? I’ve said to him before that if he wanted to see them that I would get them dressed and he could take them wherever he wanted but he’s said “I’m stopping him from being a dad” I feel trapped and he’s just going to cause trouble for me 😞 thank you for reading x
