Hi can I have a post please, my son has had molluscum contagium since he was about 6 months he’s now 19 months and he’s got loads more I’ve took him to the gp about it they keep saying they will go away on their own and treatments can cause scarring. The spots are only tiny and he’s not covered but I wondered if anyone on here had any experience. How long do they last or any creams to recommend

My son had them from when he was about 1 year old and they have just disappeared in the last few months (he’s nearly 4) They will go away on their own it just takes a bit of time x
