Hi can I have a post please on any page?
Just wondering if anyone has ever been sedated before?
What’s it like while been under and whats it like when you come round? Were you sick or did you faint or feel faint? I know you can’t remember much of what has happened as my friend told me a little about hers but I just want to hear other peoples stories if possible please?

It was absolutely fine, both times I’ve ever been put to sleep I just remember talking to the nurses, next thing then coming round groggy and hearing them talking in the recovery room. I tend to be quite cold and shivery when I come round though but just asked for an extra blanket.
I was nervous about going under, but I just closed my eyes and fell asleep, you don’t feel anything, nor remember anything, only what happened before you fell asleep, when you wake up you may fall in and out of sleep for a while coz of the anaesthetic…I ended up being very poorly after mine and was on oxygen but I would go under again…coz it means I can sleep! Lol
It was a very strange sensation being put to sleep.. i woke with a very sore head after and talking nonsense but it was ok. Dont worry 😀
I had GA for my op and not allowed to drive for 48 hours after
I was fine. No memory of that full day but felt fine, not faint etc
Can you drive after sedation?
