Hi can I have a PPP.

I’m 17 weeks pregnant and carry both the Herpes virus strains. Due to my body working over time (like all the lovely pregnant ladies out there) I’m having out break after outbreak. I’ve never fully come to terms with having the genital strain and my consultant wants me on medication for it from 36 weeks to protect baby. Has anyone else suffered during pregnancy, more specifically birth. Was your baby ok? Do they carry the virus now? Im so scared and worried. I’ve kept this private because I’m embarrassed about carrying the genital virus and I don’t know how to overcome this so please be kind.
