Hi can I have a ppp. This isn’t baby related, it’s pet related.

Basically my chocolate labrador is 8 years old. And for the last 2 weeks she had lost her appetite, she has 2 meals one in the morning and one in the evening. And both times she doesn’t eat it. She does eventually but this is not like her usually she absolutely can’t wait for it and her food is usually gone within 3 minutes! She also loves her treats which she is now refusing. She is still eating a dentix chew (one a day) but that’s it. She hasn’t been going toilet as often and she’s napping all day! She’s usually energetic. She was my mum’s dog and unfortunately it’s coming up the anniversary of her death next week. We took her vets on Monday who said it’s probably down to the hot weather. But I’m not so sure.
Has anyone experienced this in their dog? Please help. 🙁
