Hi can I have a private message plz…
Am a single mum to two boys,my oldest is a adult,
I was 41 when I had my second child,he’s now 3 year old,
when I had my youngest he got himself in to a really good routine from being weeks old,
Bath,fed,bed for 7:30..he slept in my bed,
I use to go up to bed myself lie there with him till he fell asleep..
Fast forward to now am still having to go up to bed an lie there with him till he falls asleep..but as soon as he knows am not there
(downstairs cleaning up,or just having a bit of time to myself or try to have a bath)
he starts crying,screaming,
So I have to go back up lie with him till he falls asleep again,
I tell him am cleaning up an that am only downstairs,try to reassure him,
I know I’ve made a rod of my own back by doing this,
But how do I get him to go to bed an stay there,
I find myself up an down stairs all nite,
I just need a bit of time to chill out,
do housework,watch a bit of tv,have a bath,or a shower,
His dad isn’t involved in his life,dads choice,
I don’t get no help from no one,no friends to talk to,
Just me an little one,
Any advice or help to get him to go to bed an stay in his own bed,
No bashing me plz,being a older mum an I should know better,
