Hi Can I have a private post please, it’s abit of a long one sorry ladies!

Basically I have extra scans due to my first son passing away, I went for a scan on Wednesday and she said my waters were measuring lower than the time before and I had to go to Triage have a spectrum thing &swab (which absolutely killed may I add😂) to see if my waters were leaking which they wasn’t, so I don’t really know what it’s about but Iv got another scan next anyway since I got home Wednesday Iv barely slept was just uncomfortable down there hurt it’s eased now, and this morning when I woke up I just felt abit dodgy Iv been the toilet and had loose bowels which was giving me belly ache, and my stomaches just felt uncomfortable all day today, Iv been having a stabbing/sharp pains in my vagina area like inside been having them on and off for about a week and half, pressure also about 2 weeks but just seems to be getting heavier each day🙈I’m 36 weeks and could all be completely normal I just have no idea🙈

(I never got this far in pregnancy so everything’s new to me, had previous son at 33 weeks+6)

  • With your history, I would say any concerns, don’t ignore them. It sounds like things are moving along, & baby could be here soon, but I know people have pains, & pressies for weeks before baby arrives 🙈
It all sounds fairly normal to me, but call your midwife if you’re unsure 😊

  • Best advice is ring your maternity ward and explain ALL your symptoms they’ll prob ask you to pop along. They will probably ask you to go in due to your history of losing your other son (sorry about your loss too) I’m sure ur rainbow baby will be fine but it’s best to just get checked out. X

  • I felt exactly the same at 36 weeks with all 3 of mine. I also had loose bowels for a few days. It was like my body was clearing out ready for labour. If your unsure about anything give your hospital a call and they will help x

  • They say having loose bowels is a sign your body is preparing for labour, sounds like the pains could be slow labour or ligament pain. Good luck 😊
