Hi can I have a private post please?
My daughter came home from school today and told me she was playing mean girls today. After some coaxing I got from her that her and 2 other children were bitching basically about this other girl, examples being Ew look at her shoes, look at her messy hair etc. She is easily led BUT it is not an excuse as she knows right and wrong. Trying to keep calm, I told her a parents worst nightmare is their child being bullied and I never imagined my child being the bully. I sent her upstairs to write an apology letter to the little girl in question, did the usual no iPad and grounded until further notice. Told her she will be going in to see the head on Monday and explain what has been happening but I’m devastated. What punishment is fitting? This goes beyond the usual typical ‘naughty’ behaviour. How can i make her see how serious this is.
