Hi can I have an anonymous post please:
I’m 36 weeks pregnant and see my consultant tomorrow to get a date for my elective cesarian – what I wanted to know from others is apart from both sets of parents (who need to know the date for childcare for my son) we was thinking of not telling anyone else as we still wanted to have that element of surprise? But the trouble is people will keep asking what’s my ‘date’ and didn’t know if it will come around as being ‘funny’ not wanting anyone to know? Also I only have one brother and my husband only has one sister so if we don’t tell them either does that look funny? Unfortunately my side of the family are more pushy and I know tomorrow my nan, aunt and others will be expecting to be told the date – just wanted advice from others thanks. X

We never told anyone about our 4th elective cesarian as we wanted a suprise too everyone kept asking us but we still never said anything when we rang them it was a lovely suprise for them x 😃
