Hi can I please have a private post.
Hi everyone, I have been at my new job now for 10 weeks, yesterday I found out I was pregnant. Calculating it from my last period I should be about 5/6 weeks pregnant. I haven’t been given a formal contract with my new job as of yet. This is due to them waiting for my medical to come back. I’m pretty sure once I tell them I won’t be entitled to maternity leave. Does anyone know what I would be entitled to at all? And if I’d just have to leave my job completely when I have the baby. Has anyone been through this before?

No you wont be entitled to Maternity pay through ur employer but you will recieve payment from the government, they can not sack you because ur pregnant either x
