Has anyone had experience with legal aid? Can you get it with a normal solicitor or does it have to be through a solicitor at CAB? It’s regarding child contact – no social services involvement

I got it through my normal solicitor but only coz it was domestic abuse and social was involved
You can’t get it now unless social are involved or it’s domestic violence
Just through normal solicitor they should be able to advise.
I got mine through a normal solicitor
