Hi could I have a private post please.
Hope this makes sense…
basically me and my partner are planning on moving in together. I have 2 children from a previous relationship but receive no money towards them from their dad as we have no contact and I work part time.
My partner also has a child from a previous relationship and pays the mother money every month. He works full time but isn’t on the best wage.
My question is once moving in together our money will be extremely tight as I’m aware we will pay full rent etc as we both work and may receive little help e.g tax credits but would it be better for him to go through CSA so his money that goes to his child’s mum can also be taken in to account as one of his out goings or does child maintenance not get taken in to account?
