Hi could I have a private post please, just wanted to ask if anybody’s little ones around the age of 3-5 have gone through a stage of being very emotional, my little boy will be 4 this year and he’s really into the song skin that rag and bone man sang.. now he will ask for it on quite often and he likes to watch the video on YouTube and he’s sad all the way through it and then happy when the little boy finds his friends towards the end of the song.. I’m not sure if he’s just figuring out he has emotions but he’s saying stuff like I really miss you mummy when I’m at school and crying waking up at night time saying please don’t leave mum.. I reassure him every time to say i would never ever leave him and I will always pick him up from school and that he’s not to worry that I won’t come and collect him but it’s worrying me slightly just my self would like reassurance that he’s just experiencing emotions now he’s getting older and it’s normal. Thank u xx
