Hi could I have a private post please,
My wee girl is due to start nursery at the end of the year and I’m won’t to send her to a pacific nursery and school (for many reasons like a stay in a bad area so don’t won’t her going to school here) but I dont stay any where near it so she probably wonted get a place, but my mum stay right next to it. I was thinking about just using my mums address so she will get a place in the nursery and school.
Just looking to see if any of you mums have done anything like this before ?

Thanks

  1. I applied to out of catchment nursery and got in because the numbers were low (applied due to childcare near that school) . However, when applying to the infants of the same school I couldn’t get my little girl in. It was so upsetting – change of school to local catchment and change of childminder – just something to think about xx

  2. They can check what address your child is registered at through child tax and benefit so not the best idea. I was the same as you I applied for 3 schools, none in my catchment area we got are third option which was the closest to me out of the 3 if the school is undersubscribed you will get a place x
