Hi, I am a member of the private page but I am looking for some advice from wherever anon please. My partner, some 6 weeks ago had a lump removed from his thigh he had before I met him 4+ years. He went to his appointment for his biopsy results yesterday day and was diagnosed with Cowden’s disease/syndrome or other known as multiple hamartoma syndrome. The doctor basically said he didn’t know what it was had to Google it and said he “doesn’t think it’s cancer” but he is having to wait until his own doctor is back from holiday before finding anymore out about his condition or a plan of action until the 1st August!!!we are going out of our minds with worry now as we didnt expect the results go come back as anything significant. I know from Google it is an inherited disease/condition whatever it is….. Can someone please tell me here if they have heard of this if they have it?? Or have learned about it?? Or are a doctor??? Any helpful information is welcomed. Thanks in advance x
