Hi I need some advice I grow up with out my dad in my life I got told buy my mum that something bad happened between them two and when my mum was pregnant with me my nan told my dad that she lost me I have always asked for info about my dad as I wanted to get to know him as it’d been 24 years and tonight out of blue messaged me saying that I am your dad and said my mum’s name and last name and my grandad name and my aunties name I said yes and he said that he went to a family funeral in October and his auntie said that my mum and a little girl 24 years ago and said she is yours he did not believe her at first then he tracked my mum down and she said to him yes I am his daughter . Me and my mum don’t talk that much but would of been nice if she gaves me the heads up that my dad was going to message me I really don’t know what to do or say to him I am shocked I have waited 24 years for this dad to come and now it has I really don’t know what to do I really need some advice please x
