Hi I need some help and advice from everyone please.

I have some friends who have social services involves with there 3 children. Things are not looking good for them social services have applied for joint custody. Me and my husband are close to all the children an have offered to take the 3 children on if the worse happens. Due to things that have gone on with family they don’t really have much support or anyone who can have them. Grandma on the mums side has said she’ll have the oldest but not the younger to. (Awful I know) but I was just wondering what would happen we already have 4 children & live in a 3 bed house. Would they even allow us to take them on? Moving wouldn’t be an issue, we have a holiday booked for next year, we would just add them on an take them with us but would we be allowed? Never had any dealing with social services so this is all new. Can anyone give me any in-site on where to start both parents are happy for us to take them on if the worse happens.
