Hi Ladies, my daughters father and I split up just before her birthday last year she’s now nearly 2. We have been trying to rebuild our relationship as we do care for eachother and want to be a family. Its his brothers wedding in a few weeks and today I’ve been informed my daughter is a flower girl, and also that I cannot attend due to breaking up when the final numbers where completed. We had been together for 5 years previously and I have never had any issues with his family. I am really hurting and sad that I will not see my little girl be a flower girl, and also that I will not be celebrating this special occasion with what I thought was my second family. Am I being really selfish feeling like this? I literally can’t believe I’ve been told 3 weeks before the big day! X
