Hi, please can I have a private post? I am writing in for a friend who is desperate to know if anyone has experienced a similar problem. She has a girl of 5 who within the last few months has become very unemotional about everything. The simplest things like how was school, she will just reply ” I don’t know” or have you juts had a drink of water same reply. The little girl has recently said she can’t say “love you” because she doesn’t understand the meaning. Yesterday she said she doesn’t mean it when she says please and thankyou. She won’t directly in the eye when speaking to them. My friend has been to school and they haven’t noticed anything. She has been through is anyone bullying or hurting you. So that’s not an issue. It’s very upsetting for my friend who feels very detached from her daughter at the moment. She is scared to visit the doctor in case they tell her it’s a “phase” she knows it’s something else but doesn’t know what to do next! Please anyone with similar problems or any advice welcome?
