Hiya could I have a ppp? xx

Hi girls 😊
I’m currently on maternity leave until December. I have been thinking about going back to work and I literally can’t bare the thought of it. 😫 I wish maternity leave was for 2 years rather than 1. The thought of missing out on my babies firsts to go to work kills me. I was just wondering what/if I could claim if I had another year out of work and went back when he was 2.
I also don’t have anyone who could look after him, so would need childcare and as such would probably just be able to afford to go back part time.
I’m a single mum living on my own with my baby.
I know I will probably get “perfect mummies” bashing for this but the way I see it, is I have worked since I was 14, never been out of a job and I am 23 now. I brought my baby into this world and I don’t see it as a bad thing that I want to spend a bit more time with him before my time has to be divided between work and my boy. It’s not like I never want to go back because I’m sure by the time he’s 2 I will want to go back for the social aspect if nothing else.
Just looking to see if there is anything I can do and will I get help if I quit my job after my maternity leave? Or whether I will just have to suck it up and go back 😪 Thanks in advance xx
