How do you tell someone in the nicest way they need to shower. I’m moving into a mother and baby unit this weekend and it’s really nice my only problem is my flatmate absolutely stinks 😷. I hate to be rude but she smells like she’s been sleeping rough and so does her baby. Me and my partner went there today to build my new bed only to find her asleep on the sofa at 1:15 in the afternoon and her daughter was just crying in her pushchair and the whole room stank. She seems very strange and told me that the last 2 women that had lived with her had left after she had fights with both of them. She also told me she stabbed her dad and slapped a social worker and her boyfriends getting sentenced for kidnap soon. I’ve only just met her and I’m really nervous to live with her. She smokes a lot in the day and is very friendly with my child who’s 1 which is lovely but she will go outside for a cigarette and then come and hug him and start trying to play with him without even washing her hands. The other day she showed me her room and she was sleeping with no bed sheet just a mattress . Her daughters cot was really dirty and had some mould on the mattress (didn’t even know that was possible) I don’t want to have to say anything to the staff as I haven’t even moved in yet I’ve just been moving my stuff in also I don’t want to seem like I’m complaining or make her look bad. How can I say you need to wash in the nicest way. She was given loads of bath sets at Christmas and there all in the bathroom unopened. I’m so happy to be moving in but dreading living with this girl
