I am currently on my second year of uni and I have split up with my partner. I get £3652.00 loan for the year and I have been told to claim universal credits. I have claimed these however they are saying I’m not entitled to them and will have to live off my student loan and my wage which is only £400 at the moment as I’m on maternity leave. I don’t understand how I can live off that when my rent is £450+ a month and I have to young children! Has anyone experienced this?
