I don’t really know how to explain this.. but names have been changed. (Will call the woman debbie)..
My friends friend wanted a home swap to a smaller place.. which I had been asked to swap with. Bran new 4 bed house. Only been up a few years. Chatting with the woman about her house she come seen mine and come back 3 times. So she was keen. I was supposed to go and see her house but she was avoiding me. Strange but thought maybe she had a change of heart or didn’t like my place. Her mate got hold of me and said you better talk to Cathy.. I said I have been trying but she won’t reply to me.. after a long day of waiting she got in contact with me and said this lady Debbie has told her I’m a drug dealer. And I’m a crack head. I’ve never ever touched drugs in my life. I don’t even drink…. she shouted up the school play ground that my son is a theif and the worse thing she can do is swap with me.. I explained to Cathy that these were pure lies and I didn’t know why Debbie would be so malicious. Well I contacted Debbie and she said it’s lies. But nobody knew I know Debbie. I’ve had 5 different people message me via fb saying what’s been said and if I swapped they will run me out. I’m innocent and I can’t believe Debbie would lie. She also claimed another young girl was dealing drugs from the local shop causing her to lose her job.. single mum on her own mind. I told Debbie I’d have it out with her when I seen her next and she is now avoiding the school. Our kids go to different schools. Can I go to the police with what she’s been saying?. Or will they just think it’s petty. I wouldn’t normally worry about stupid gossip but becuase my teenage son goes to the same school as some lads who live on that estate I’m worried it will grow in to some thing else.
