Looking for advice .. my oldest daughter got a filling on Monday after an old one fell out .. she told me the old one had fell out ages ago but she didn’t tell me becuase it didn’t hurt… Anyway since Monday she hasn’t been able to eat on it becuase she gets a sharp shooting pain .. I told her to chew on the other side but today she told me that sometimes if her tounge hits it in a certain way she gets the pain but she can’t tell ways she’s doing to cause HR .. does anyone know if this is normal ? She is 16 Xx

Can you reply to my post please … Does that fix it’s self or should I make her another appointment ? I just didn’t want to rush into it incase it takes time to heal x
I done the same before left a filling that fell out due to no pain and my nerve was exposed and I was in agony didn’t heal its self either ended up with a root canal filling as I left it and it got worse x
I had the same.. had to have the filling taken out and a temp one put in.. Haven’t had a problem with the temp one and it’s been in for nearly 3 years 🙈
Take back to dentist because if she needs root canal don’t want infection. Check her temperature.
Make a app it wont sort itself they maybe havent filled it enough
I had something similar and mine was an exposed nerve maybe ring the dentist on Monday xx
