My 5 week old daughter is being fed first infant milk aptamil powder, she was taking 70mls and has just been up’d to 120mls. She has had a LOT of trapped wind and it is really hard to get a burp out of her and she tends to toot it out when the wind has forced its way through her causing her discomfurt and pain which is making her distressed and she cries often throughout the day. She even makes the groaning noises in her sleep. She was born 6lbs 8oz and then lost weight as all babies do, she then didnt put the expected weight back on by 3 weeks old so they sent us to hospital. There she put weight back on and has come home and has now lost 40g! The health visitor said if she hasnt put any weight on by tomorrow shes to go back to hospital. I have got her medium flow teets instead of slow flow as she may be tiring herself out, i even tried different bottles. Ive winded her in different positions including different patterns on her back and fed her in different positions ive even held the bottles differently. Im very worried and i could really use some advice x
