My son walks to school with his older sister or goes on his bike to school everyday. Last week he started saying that he was to scared to walk to school as he was scared of people, of being taken to the point he’s started having nightmares. We had a talk about it and I reassured him that he was safe and if he ever didn’t feel safe that I had friends house that he could go to. He then said he would go on his bike but his hands got cold so we both agreed that if I got him gloves he would go on his bike. This morning he asked me if I could walk him half way which I said yeah that’s fine. Only when we got there he burst into tears saying I’m to scared to walk to school so I agreed to walk him. I’m not always going to be able to do this as I work, have to take his sister to school and my health isn’t great. I’ve been in to school and talked to them to see if they can help. Was just wondering if anyone had any ideas as to how I could help him to get to school without being scared… sorry for long post 😞
