One Day You Won’t Have To Stand In The Wet And Cold
In 10 years time I won’t have to get up at 8am on a Sunday morning.
I won’t have to wash muddy sports kits or make sure both boots are in the bag or that we have water bottles, water proofs and shin pads.
I won’t be needed as the worlds proudest cheerleader for 2 hours plus every weekend.
I won’t be fiercely shouting at the opposition (Footy mums you know you do this too!)
That time will pass in a heartbeat just like the last 10 years have and in no time my weekends will be my own again
Until that day comes I am happy to give up any amount of my time and I fully intend to be the constant cheerleader, kit manager, chauffeur, water carrier and the loudest voice on the sideline – whether they like that or not 🤣
For the parents with the wet feet and windswept hair who are on the touchline come rain or shine or flipping snow cheers from me 🥂☔️❄️☀️
