Please can I have a private post please?

I’m currently 34+4 weeks and during my second trimester I lost my job so I went on to Job Seekers Allowance whilst I was looking for a job and it was £57.90 a week and when I got to the stage of it was 11 weeks until my due date I then changed over to income support but it’s only just started coming through as there was lots of paper work to do and things had to get sorted… anyway I was told that as I’m a single parent my income support should be £77 a week as I’m a single mum but I’m only getting £57.90 a week (the exact same as Job Seekers) do I need to let The Job Centre know my money is wrong or is this amount correct? Do I need to inform income support when I have my baby? Will my money go up to £77 a week once I have my baby or is it just going to stay at £57.90?

Please no bashing as I have worked all my life and paid into the tax system and unfortunately I was put in a situation where I couldn’t find a job as I was so far along in my pregnancy. I don’t know how the benefits all work. I’m just confused as to why I’m not getting the £77 like it says I should be online
