A friend has opened up to me about her relationship tonight and I’m worried about her and wanted some advice..

It started by her telling me that her fiancé went to strangle her the other day. I asked her what happened and she said it was her fault, she was ill that day so hadn’t done any housework, he was tired and she put glitter on him and he went to strangle her.. she said it was okay because he stopped when she shouted at him to stop and because he said sorry but insists it’s her own fault. Said that she had been lazy that day and he needed to ‘set her straight’
Then she went on to say that he brings her down all the time, calling her names like ‘fat cunt’.
She also told me that she tried to break up with him before and ripped up the Valentine’s card she gave him and he flipped the mattress with her on it.

She seems to think this is normal behaviour and that she deserves it.. I dunno else I can say to her
Any help or advice would be appreciated 😘
