Looking for advice on what to do with my teenage sons. Ones 17 other 16 , neither of them are motivated to do anything with themselves. Apart from part time college ( in which the 16 year old has already been on a warning for turning up hours late ) they literally sit around on their bums all day on phones and computers. It’s causing a massive strain on my marriage ( not their dad ) to the point where he’s given up trying to encourage them with anything and would rather not speak to them. The fact they do nothing round the house , won’t look for little jobs or even go out the house really annoys him. They have nothing to do with their biological dad so it’s all on me . I ve tried speaking to them on a level, I ve shouted , cried and even threatened to kick them out. They are being so selfish. I ve told them that they are ruining everything but they don’t seem to care . I m at my wits end 😢.
